Vintage mannequin face and real deer antlers assemblage sculpture on a framed 12" x 36" cradled wood panel.
Cerulean Nymph was created from a salvaged mannequin face and real deer antlers recovered after Hurricane Helene caused significant damage to the original artwork. The blue tones of the piece are representative of the flood waters that overcame the original work. Cerulean Nymph embodies a balance between loss and renewal, offering a quiet moment to appreciate the unexpected beauty that can come from change. It lives in that space where identity feels fluid and symbolic; the nymph who is part of the natural world yet stands apart as a figure of calm, carrying a stillness and memories that invite one to pause, breathe, and connect with something quietly profound.
