Casted vintage mannequin face on cradled wood panel assemblage sculpture.
8" x 22" wall-mount
The inspiration behind Meditation lies in my journey of reclaiming tranquility after the chaos of Hurricane Helene. The storm's aftermath left an indelible mark, and creating this artwork became an act of carving out peace amid the chaos of disruption. This sculpture is a testament to the power of meditative states when we steal moments of serenity amidst life's storms.
In crafting Meditation, I found myself immersed in a process that was as much about art as it was about healing. The choice of materials and textures became a silent dialogue, each decision a step toward capturing the nuanced emotion of relaxation, a luxury I've cherished more deeply since those turbulent times.
This work is currently in my home studio. If you are interested in owning this one-of-a-kind assemblage sculpture artwork please contact me.
