In “Woman of the Wood” a vintage mannequin face, with its frozen expression, becomes a silent guardian or spirit of the natural wood, blending seamlessly with the organic textures and imperfections. It invites viewers to reflect on the interconnectedness of human existence with the natural world, and the beauty that emerges when artificiality and authenticity converge. This work is a poetic exploration of the enduring union between humanity and the environment.
